English Routines

In Early Years, routines are an essential part of learning English. Every session begins with our Good Morning routine, where we greet each other, sing songs, and talk about the weather and how we feel.
Through songs with actions and visual support, children learn expressions such as “Good morning!”, “How are you?” and “What’s the weather like today?”. Repetition helps them feel confident and secure.
The helper of the day plays a special role by pointing to the weather chart, handing out materials, or choosing the song of the day. This makes learning meaningful and participatory.
